Finally. Onto drawings and paintings and things that are a bit more fun/interesting than photos, sort of.

Hell, I'll give you guys two drawings because I just have that much backlog and am super generous.

Vang Vieng - Laos

A nice little town that is a very big tourist attraction for one sole reason: Tubing. You rent the inner tube from a tractor tyre, sit in it and float down the river. Along the side of the river are bars that throw you a rope so you can pull yourself in and have some drinks. While you can sit back, relax and take in the fact that you're floating down a river in Laos in a tractor tyre you also have the option of going on the various trapezes that each bar offers. Some take you from 10 metres into the air, skim you across the surface of the water and then back up to 10 metres high on the other side. Now you drop into the fast flowing river, but remember, this is Laos, there are no safety regulations here, so maybe be a bit careful... You're drunk. You're in a fast flowing river, which isn't necessarily that deep. You're also on a trapeze. You heard that the other day someone died doing this exact same thing. You're having the time of your life.

I don't have any photos from tubing, cause taking a good camera tubing would be just plain silly.

3 days living in tree houses above the canopy of the Laos jungle. To get anywhere you had to zip line through and over the trees. In the mornings we would wake up to the sounds of gibbons singing. On the second morning we watched a group of about 8 gibbons play in the trees for about 20-30 minutes. This was by far the most amazing thing I have ever done.

Trekking through the jungle.

This + gibbons singing is what we would wake up to.

Here's a video of Matt and I ziplining.

On the trip we met a nice American fellow called Rob Kroenert. He's damn good at photography. So I recommend heading over to his site and checking out his photos from the trip, as well as a number of videos of people zip lining and of the truck driving through the river.

Changmai - Thailand

I hardly took any photos in Changmai, which is a shame. Here's a photo I took at 7 am at the train station when we arrived.

I'm a bit sick of posting travel photos, but not to worry there's only 5 cities left so I will persevere. After that! Well! Drawings! Paintings! Excitement!

Kho Pangang - Thailand

 Back to photos.

A beautiful island that I decided to only photograph during a storm.

Getting ready to go to the Full Moon Party. 10,000ish people. Beach. Drinks. Music. Flaming skipping ropes, hoops and waterslides. The best time.

Let's take a break from photos. I like photography but there's only so much I can handle before I need to pick up a pen or brush. Now is one of those times.

As of late I can't stop drawing this kind of baby-creature.
